sorry we haven't blogged for a few days - just been too busy!!
Yesterday we took a boat out to sea to try to find some dolphins. But the dolphins didn't want to see us!! we couldn't find them. so we went snorkeling off a tiny wee island. we could see fish that were yellow, orange. black and white stripes, skinny ones, rainbow colours ... the boat trip was quite bumpy.
Sam and Molly have had their hair braided and beaded - check them out when they get back to school!!
Sam and Ben have made some new friends here and they play games with them at night and in the pool. last night mum and Sam vs Ben and molly at table soccer. Ben's team won, 10-9!
we walked to the other resort on our island yesterday too. it is very flash! it is not for children. to get there we had to walk over the airstrip runway - looking for planes before we crossed!
this is the island that we snorkeled off.
today we are going to the local village to visit the people. here we will go to the school and deliver our collection of books, pens etc.
tomorrow we leave this island for Nadi. almost time to come home.

ReplyDeleteIt is Friday afternoon here and we have just had free choice after being so good for the Craighead performance. They came to sing and play instruments for us.
It hasn't been sunny ALL week - no swimming for us.
They island looks awesome. We can't wait to see your photos.
Remember Sam you have two games of hockey next week. ...one on Monday and then on Tuesday.
